People Love Dead Jews - Dara Horn

This book was a great starting point to learn more about the Holocaust and the basis of antisemitism

The Last Kings of Shanghai - Jonathan Kaufman

This book was an excellent resource as it described the relationship between the Jewish people and Shanghai over time.

Voices from Shanghai - Irene Eber, ed., trans., and intro

This piece of writing was recommended to me my Dr. Jing, a visiting professor  at the University of Virginia. I had the opportunity to meet with her and go over the writing. This piece gives a really good sense of first hand accounts of the Ghetto.

Wartime in Shanghai and the Jewish Refugees from Central Europe - Irene Eber

This too was a recommended piece of writing by Dr. Jing. This book has many straightforward fact about the ghetto, and information on where the refugees were mainly from.

Shanghai '37. - Vicki Baum

This piece of writing was translated from a German book called Hotel Shanghai. This book depicts many events following the Sino-Japanese War.
